Free tools for monitoring and alerts
The small jobs around watching a website: check what a URL really answers, get an alert channel working, and know what an uptime number means. Free, no account, nothing to install.
Where they run
The Telegram chat ID finder and the SLA calculator run entirely in your browser: nothing you type is sent to us. The HTTP status checker and the SMTP test need a real network connection, so they run on our tools server in Amsterdam - they can reach public addresses only, and what you enter is used for that one check and not stored.
Why an uptime monitor makes these
Each tool is one step of what UpWatchr does on a schedule: it runs HTTP checks like the status checker, and alerts you by email, Telegram, webhook or a Windows popup when one fails. It's a free Windows app that checks from your own PC - so it also reaches the things these web tools can't, like localhost and servers on your LAN.
